Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten gives talented artists from around the world the opportunity to develop their art under optimal conditions during a two-year artist residency.
Ammodo contributes to increasing the personal working budget of the artists. Additionally, through budget applications, costly and complex projects can be realised.
Ammodo supports the artistic guidance of the residents by funding external advisors. By inviting advisors and guest advisors from various fields, the Rijksakademie offers their residents a broad spectrum of input.
Ammodo also supports the alumni network of the artist residency. By involving former participants in public programmes and providing access to technical facilities and studio space, the Rijksakademie fosters a valuable and lasting community of artists.
Ammodo lastly supports the expansion of the Rijksakademie’s public lecture programme. Through lectures and debates, the Rijksakademie creates a platform for reflection on contemporary art.
