The Rijksakademie is a renowned postgraduate art institute for national and international talent. During a two-year residency, around 50 artists enter an open-ended process in which they challenge themselves, deepen their practice and explore new paths in- and outside the art field. Every year during the Open Studios, the artists share their work with a wider audience in an ambitious and original way.

The Rijksakademie stands for artistic innovation and progressive art. Based on the vision that art is a crucial driving force for an open and innovative society, the Rijksakademie creates the conditions for artists to challenge themselves and thus constantly reimagine the power of art.

Since 2012, Ammodo has contributed to various activities of the Rijksakademie. Ammodo supported the Guestadvisors Circle (2012-2018), the Technical Advisors Circle (2017-2019), and the Rijksakademie Exchange (2019-2021). Since 2019, Ammodo has been the main partner of the Rijksakademie with structural support for the residency programme, residents and Open Studios.
