The Positions exhibition series at the Van Abbemuseum invites emerging and mid-career artists to present existing work and create new work. Each edition of Positions typically features five solo projects, presenting a diverse range of contemporary artistic practices while offering direct insight into the themes that artists find most urgent. Previous editions have featured works by artists such as Mounira Al-Solh, Anna Boghiguian, Bouchra Khalili, Naeem Mohaiemen, and Laure Prouvost.
Ammodo supports Positions because this series focuses on the voice of the artist and is therefore an important addition to the larger thematic exhibitions and solo exhibitions that the museum presents. Ammodo has supported this series since 2014, with funding committed until 2026.
