In 2025, KM21 will present the exhibition Parallel Bones by Dutch artist Magali Reus. In this exhibition, Reus’s work shares the space with collection pieces by Colenbrander, including carpets, carpet designs, plates, vases, and biscuit models that served as examples for pottery painters.

Reus’s sculptures and installations engage in a playful dialogue with approximately 45 works by The Hague-based designer T.A.C. Colenbrander (1841–1930) from the museum’s collection. Through this interplay, Magali Reus creates an associative space focusing on the symbiosis between the two makers.
