SPRING Performing Arts Festival in Utrecht presents contemporary, international performances at the intersection of dance and theatre. Each year, the festival produces new work by young, emerging and established artists from around the world.
The festival aims for a balance between emerging and mid-career makers and fosters long-term partnerships, offering support not only in developing new work(s) but also in organising (international) tours.
Since 2015 Ammodo is committed to supporting a selection of new co-productions each year. In 2024 this included works by Begüm Erciyas (Turkey), Bosse Provoost & Ezra Velthuis (Netherlands), Ira Melkonyan (Ukraine/Malta/Netherlands), and Mette Ingvartsen (Denmark).
