The Curatorial Programme is a development programme for talented international curators at de Appel. The institute selects one or two collectives to immerse themselves in the Amsterdam art scene between 2024 and 2026, conducting research in collaboration with tutors and experts, and developing exhibitions and a public programme for de Appel.

From 2024, the Curatorial Programme will focus on collective practice. Participating collectives will learn about lumbung, self-organised and socio-political artistic and curatorial practices, and the development of alternative institutional models for the future.
