IFFR is the largest film festival in the Netherlands. During the 12-day event, over 400 artistic and independent film productions from all over the world are shown, accompanied by an extensive context programme with Q&A's, debates and master classes. The focus of the festival is on recent work by talented new makers, but there is also room for retrospectives and themed programmes. In addition, the festival runs competition programmes such as the Tiger Competition for young, promising filmmakers and the Tiger Short Competition, for short and medium-length films. With more than 300,000 visitors, IFFR demonstrates that innovative, committed cinema and a large public outreach go hand in hand.
Ammodo supported the Ammodo Tiger Short Competition during the period 2018-2023. IFFR indicates that Ammodo's support deepened and innovated the programme and enabled them to attract more artists to the competition.
