Toneelschuur Producties is a production house for repertoire theatre. Choosing repertoire as a starting point requires a director with a strong artistic voice, who must engage with existing material and previous interpretations from a contemporary perspective. The guiding principle of Toneelschuur Producties is that by paying attention to the past, present, and future, reflection is encouraged.

Toneelschuur Producties provides intensive, long-term guidance to these directors, with the aim of developing their own artistic signature. The organisation is renowned for its continuous innovation and an approach that yields results. Among the theatre-makers who have progressed from Toneelschuur Producties are Eline Arbo (ITA), Paul Knieriem (De Toneelmakerij), and Eric de Vroedt (Het Nationale Theater).

Toneelschuur Producties is based at De Schuur in Haarlem. Since 2013, Ammodo has supported the development of emerging talent at Toneelschuur Producties. Over the next four years, the following directors will be associated with the organisation: Loek de Bakker, Abdel Daoudi, Jessie L’Herminez, Marloes IJpelaar, Agnese Kumpina, Angelo Ormskerk, and Koen Verheijden.
