The Rijksmuseum collects, conserves, presents and restores art and historical objects on an international scale. In over eighty rooms, the museum shows the story of Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to Mondriaan. The emphasis is on the seventeenth-century Dutch Masters. Since 2005, the museum has reintegrated the twentieth century into its collection and exhibitions. With this, the Rijksmuseum aims to present a more complete and up-to-date picture of art history.
Ammodo supports the Rijksmuseum in their ambition to create prominent exhibitions that display masterpieces and (international) loans from all over the world in the Netherlands. The special loans allow the Dutch and international public to become acquainted with paintings, sculptures and other art treasures that have not previously or rarely been shown in The Netherlands. This not only supports the Rijksmuseum, but also the development of art and culture throughout the Netherlands.
