The Biennale di Venezia Arte is one of the most prestigious art events in the world, founded in 1895 and organized biennially in Venice. The institution provides a platform for contemporary art, with pavilions from participating countries and a central exhibition curated by an internationally renowned curator. La Biennale seeks innovation and critical dialogue on urgent global themes within art. ‍

For each edition, a curator is appointed to lead the Biennale and shape the main exhibition. Highlights of recent years include editions led by Cecilia Alemani (2022), which focused on female and non-binary artists, and Ralph Rugoff (2019), who explored the boundaries between reality and illusion. For the 2024 edition, Adriano Pedrosa (Rio de Janeiro, 1958) was appointed curator and Ammodo supported the Performance Program. Within this program, eight international artists developed a perfomance, which were performed during the exhibition.
