Foam is a museum and knowledge centre in all photographic genres, including art photography, historical photography, and fashion photography. The museum has its own collection of more than 552 works. Every year, Foam organises around 20 exhibitions that focus on both big names and young talent. Classical presentations are alternated with innovative exhibitions that give insight into developments in the contemporary photography field. This is often in combination with a fringe programme. In 2015 Foam created the Next Level exhibition series with the support of Ammodo.
