Eye Filmmuseum located on the Amsterdam IJ manages more than 55,000 films from all genres, from classics and blockbusters to cult films, and is renowned worldwide for its knowledge and expertise in film restoration, research and education. Eye also organises temporary and permanent exhibitions. Eye Filmmuseum is in a special position between museum and cinema, creating the perfect conditions for the high-quality presentation of film and video art.
Since 2015, Ammodo has contributed to the creation of various exhibitions at Eye by renowned artists who have created new work(s) for this purpose. Ammodo has also partly funded the Eye Art & Film Prize since 2023.
