ITA is een huis voor nationaal en internationaal toonaangevend theater en dans. Het vaste ensemble is internationaal vermaard en brengt onder leiding van artistiek directeur Eline Arbo eigentijdse ensceneringen van klassiek en modern repertoire. ITA nodigt met regelmaat gevierde buitenlandse regisseurs uit voor coproducties.
In 2019 is Ammodo een productiepartnerschap aangegaan met ITA, dat inmiddels toegezegd is tot en met 2028. Het partnerschap houdt in dat Ammodo jaarlijks een aantal producties steunt bij ITA; van het ensemble zelf in regie van Eline Arbo, producties onder leiding van gastregisseurs of internationale (co)producties.
